Merry Christmas, Everyone.

This was Furrow’s first Christmas. He is nine months old and is an absolute joy.

I took Furrow to Burnaby Village Museum, which had many magnificent Christmas light displays. I took him after dark so he could fully experience all the colourful arrays of lights. He had great fun walking around the many displays, sniffing and capturing the different smells. It was very crowded too and he did great with all the people moving around him. I took several photos while I was there to share. It was very dark outside, and with Furrow being a black lab, the images are not perfect, but I think they provide a good visual of Furrow’s experience that I would like to share.

Earlier in December, Furrow was introduced to his first huge blow-up Christmas Santa and reindeer on a neighbourhood walk. He first did not know what they were and just stared, but with my encouragement, he slowly approached them and gave them a very good sniffing and poked them with his nose, and that was all he needed to do to accept them into his new and expanding world.

Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful last few days to an amazing 2024!
