Furrow and I flew home in November from spending a month in the hot and sunny desert of Arizona. I knew what we were in for returning to Vancouver. Wet, rainy, cold and dull days. On the flight, Furrow again flew like a regular jet setter. We sat in the bulkhead row, so just behind business class. He was very well-behaved and enjoyed having the entire row to himself, giving lots of space for him to stretch. I was grateful we were given all that extra room, too.
Furrowβs nose went wild when the rows just in front of us, which were only separated by a very narrow and thin curtain, received warm delicious meals while we received pretzels or a cookie. Furrow figured he must have been in the wrong area as that food smelled just too good to resist, so he quickly dashed and attempted to crawl under the seats in front of us. Fortunately, he was not small enough to squeeze his entire body under the seat. Sadly, we both had to enjoy those smells from afar.
I thought once we arrived home that Furrow may take some time to adjust from his previous hot and dry climate to a cold and damp climate with heavy rainfall. The transition was seamless. I was now taking him out on walks where he was experiencing rain pounding down on him and having to walk through puddles. He never missed a beat in his step and walked out in the heavy rains, not letting a single raindrop faze him. He even went out of his way to walk through puddles, and to my dislike, he seemed more interested in the muddy ones.
I have attached 5 photos of Furrow. Three of him on his plane ride back to Vancouver and two of him out on a walk in our rainy November weather.
This will be Furrowβs 1st Christmas. I am really excited for him. I will tell you all about it next time.
