Furrow the 7-month-old pup I have been raising since he was 9 weeks old joined me on a holiday to Arizona for the month of October. He was an all-star at the airport and comfortably settled on the plane chewing his bone for the 1st half of the flight, then sleeping the rest of the flight occasionally snoring very loudly with snorting. The other passengers did not mind his snoring. I guess it is different when a pup snores next to you than another human. When we arrived at the desert lifestyle, Furrow settled in immediately. He made himself right at home. Over the month, he has enjoyed regular outings to the large shopping centres, and early morning and late evening walks in the desert when the temperature is cooler. He has established a group of dog friends who he enjoys playtime with, and the opportunity to learn different ways of playing from the older dogs. I am so grateful that I was able to include Furrow on this trip and hopefully, we will be able to return for another visit next year. I have included two photos.
