Gadget came to me for a sit for the month while her raiser heals her back injury. Gadget immediately settled well into our house and with our released PADS dog, Mirabel.
I took Gadget on all my outings, from the grocery and hardware store to a hair salon, coffee shop and some restaurants. She did amazing on all accounts, always focused on me, and was such a great girl.
She experienced a few new things, coming on the ferry with us to our vacation place in Sechelt. She has such confidence, she embraced her adventure with such joy!
We continued her training – she learned how to leave kibble on the ground, how to sit at a door before exiting, and she even thought nail trimmings were ok!
She played on the beach with our Mirabel, and went into the water to swim, a lot like Penny Oleksiak!
All in all, she was absolutely amazing during her month with us. Eager to learn, confident to try new things, full of joy, and you can always count on her for a good cuddle.
