Gadget had a really quiet month of February. The month began with the start of Gadget’s heat cycle. As a result, her public access stopped, and she spent a lot of time at home. This gave us extra time to work on her training, which she loves to do. Her recall is fabulous, as is her duration work. She will hold a duration stand forever… or at least until I feel sorry for her and end it.
Gadget went to a dance recital near the end of the month, and she seemed to enjoy watching parts of the show. She settled on her bed for the rest. She also went for a visit to Langley Gardens’ long-term care facility and said hi to many of the elderly residents.
Gadget got to meet and spend a couple of days with Advanced Dog Yarrow near the end of the month. Instant best friends!!!
