What made this a fabulous month for Gadget was the day in mid-month, when PADS dog Yarrow arrived to spend 3 weeks. Both dogs played together like there was no tomorrow.
For activities outside the house, hockey season has arrived again, and Gadget has already been to 4 games or practices at Pitt Meadows Arena. She has also visited some coffee shops to practice her down under a table, Petsmart to work on calmness in public, and the local shopping mall to work on duration with lots of people walking by. Also, Gadget visited Langley Gardens Long Term Care floor twice a week, which she has been doing for a number of months. She puts huge smiles on the faces of many of the elderly residents.
Gadget is doing very well with her training, and we are currently working on leash-guided movements.
