In the month of April, I really got to enjoy the nice weather coming back! I went for a nice long walk down Jericho Beach and along Spanish Banks, have been enjoying the cherry blossoms on daily walks, have been spending more time on the patio, and even supervised paddleboards getting pumped up at the beach.
One sign that Iβm getting bigger and more mature is that I got a nice new collar and leash because I outgrew my baby pup collar!
I also had a few big outings this month! I waited very patiently while my humans went to voteβlots of people and noises, but I stayed cool and calm like a pro. I went to TWO Canucks games too! That was a big challengeβso many lights, sounds, and cheering humans. I had a bit of a hard time settling with all the excitement, but I tried my best, and it was a great learning experience.
Later in the month, I visited a bowling alley (so many rolling balls!) and surprised everyone by taking a solid nap right in the middle of all the action. Training to be a service dog means learning to be calm in all kinds of environments, and Iβm getting better every day.
