In February, I continued to have some new experiences and build on old ones. I accompanied my raisers to two nice restaurants, where all the staff and other diners were very impressed with my manners. One spot even offered my raisers a special contact for future reservations because I was so cute and well-behaved!
I also accompanied my raisers to the ‘First Half’ half marathon in Vancouver, where I cheered on one of my raisers and tried not to get distracted by all the action and celebration at the finish line. We actually met a PADS client there who was so happy to see another PADS dog in training. One of my favourite experiences was attending an Arts Club performance of “The Three Musketeers”. I wasn’t sure about the sword-fighting scenes but I kept a level head.
Other new experiences were visiting the skating rink for Family Day (I just watched) and hanging out with my raisers at a sound bath! The sound bath was actually led by a PADS puppy sitter, whom I’ve spent some time with, and I was mesmerized by her crystal bowl playing. After a while though, I decided to chill and take a nap.
Lastly, February was full of snow days! How fun it was to have my neighbourhood walks be a little different. It also helped get me out of my stick-picking-up habit.
