Gem has really noticeably matured in the last few months, which is great because we also welcomed her half-sister, Grace, into our home! Gem wasn’t sure what to think at first, but Grace has been growing on her, and they have been enjoying play sessions together. With a baby puppy around, it’s easy to see how solid Gem is in her manners and skills.
The other big highlight of January was having a 5-month old foster kitten in our home for about 2 weeks. Gem was IN LOVE with Nyx! It was very good practice for her arousal spikes and being gentle. Gem loved to give Nyx lots of licks. Before Nyx got adopted, Gem and the kitten had some good cuddle sessions. Some would say that Gem actually preferred Nyx the kitten to Grace the puppy!
