This month was full of big feelings, weird textures, and life lessons. I entered my teenage phase (hello, attitude!) and decided goose poop is a gourmet snack. I got the zoomies on new ground textures that I uncovered sand and mud โ€” 10/10 sensory experience. I tried paddleboarding for the first time, but the water was cold, and I got overstimulated, so weโ€™re saving that adventure for another day. I also had an unexpected vet visit after eating part of my toy (oops). Luckily, I got special medicine that made me throw up, so that I didnโ€™t need surgery!

While my raiser Liam was away, I got to hang with Thea, who is best friends with my other sitter Sophie, and came to be a (PADS trained!) live-in sitter. We had a blast training together, and it was great to get long-term practice with a different handler! I also helped Thea learn a lot too, so now she can help sit other PADs pups too. I was happy when Liam came home from his trip… but a little sad to say goodbye to Thea for the time being. Growing up is complicated.
