We kicked off the new year by doing all things retrieving withΒ Gherkin! He is learning to pick up objects and generalize different materials, textures, shapes, sizes, etc! Although new things can sometimes be hard for him, he is always there to try again; he always has a put-me-in-coach attitude and wants to please you in any way he can. We also continue to work on his obedience and leash cues to help with Gherkins’s movement skills.Β
- Skills Being Learned:Β Shaping dowel hold, rear foot target, moving away from reinforcement.Β
