HAPPY NEW YEAR

December has been a blast we’ve had lots of fun activities and pawties to attend!

Starting off the month with a PADS breakfast, where the humans managed to squeeze 4 of us under a table! Then it was straight to the office for their holiday luncheon, where I got to be the master of the desserts (well I slept behind the dessert table!)

My raiser and I met up with PADS Burgie and Raekin and we went up the Grouse gondola where I got to see some SNOW! I did struggle to keep my cookies together as snow is amazing, but I was in cape and my raiser said she would find me some snow that I could play in at another time.

I had some amazing off-leash adventures both with doggo friends and with just my raiser, my recall is coming along really well, sometimes I can be a rocket and other times I just meander or get distracted by a sniff and my raiser has to remind me that I was going back to her! One of these adventures though, ended with a bath at Bosley’s, and I wasn’t too impressed, though there were more treats than when she bathes me at home.

There were so many shining lights everywhere, we went to the PNE to watch the Nutcracker on Ice and see all of the pretty sculptures, to Dundarave to see all of the pretty Christmas trees, and a huge bonfire on the beach, Stanley Park and to the shipyards market where we also took the tiny (and bigger) guiding kiddos to ice-skate, I did really good staying on my bed.

I even got to go to the Ballet and slept while the Nutcracker was on, well other than thinking it was time to go at the clapping, but I was better than the last time.

I got to meet various men in big red suits, my raiser seemed to like putting me into silly holiday clothes for these pictures but she gets so happy with them (raiser note check out Golly’s Instagram @padsgolly for a reel of all of her Santa pictures).

Finally, at the end of the month, I got to go and visit PADS Raekins and PADS Burgie’s homes while the humans had food and festive fun.

This holiday season has been great with lots of time with my raiser and with friends.

Here’s to 2025!
