Hi peeps! I’m still on bonus time with my raiser while I wait for space with the advanced team, which is coming very, very soon.
The spooky season is upon us with lots of adventures to see big decorations which sometimes make noise and jump up, which didn’t bother me at all except for when my raiser would make me lay in the rain to take the picture!
I’ve had lots of adventures with PADS Mushu, starting off the month with a trip to the suspension bridge for a special pre-opening night and weekly walks (and coffee for the humans). I also got to spend some time with Raekin for Thanksgiving, and we did very well together with no rough-housing in the house.
My raiser had a couple of important days which I nailed, first was guiding meetings and training, where I just “went in” and slept through both of them. Then we had a morning in the office with this huge crane, which I got to watch from the dry car (raiser note Golly is tethered in the car for safety, but she held the sit duration beautifully). At the end of the month, she had some appointments at LifeLabs, and I did amazing if I say so myself. I settled in a corner and then at the doctors where I held my down for 45 minutes!
We also had an Australian friend come and stay. I liked to give Claudia a boop in the morning just to make sure she was still there. On Claudia’s last day, we went to carve pumpkins. When Claudia arrived from Australia two years ago, the first place she and my raiser went was pumpkin carving with Tope, so it marked her time very well!
I have found a love for snuggling under blankets this month. I’ve always enjoyed the softer items in life, but snuggling with or at my raiser’s feet under a warm, fluffy blanket has become a nightly routine.
In the last week, my raiser got the news that I have a place with an advanced trainer, so I had my last Sparks meeting with the tiny humans, and they all got to have a pet and say goodbye.
Raiser note: it has been an absolute pleasure to raise Golly and wishing her all of the best and love in her next adventure!
