I am Groot!
This month, we welcomed Groot into Advanced Training!
We noticed that he was not a fan of the kennel environment, so we allowed him to take his time adjusting at his pace. The entire week, all the new turn-in dogs had a nice, slow, and easy time: sniff walks, frozen kongs, playtime, endless cuddles, and letting them settle in. He has an energy that is fun to work with and train, and he is very keen to learn!
For the next few months, he will be out with long-term sitters, focusing on dog distraction, overall foundational skills, durations, and LLW. He loves to play with his new pet, brother. They can be seen playing bitey-face over the endless toys.
Team Groot, congratulations on all the hard work and dedication you have put in working with Groot. There are no words for how excited we are to see him choice his career!
