Holly arrived in Calgary on November 19 from Burnaby.
Holly has been able to enjoy many outings and sites since her arrival.
We went to a pet store where they were taking Santa photos during the first few days she was with us, and she was great!!
Other fun activities have been a visit to a restaurant for a friend’s retirement party, she had a sitter (thank you Carrie) who took her to a PADS YouthLink Christmas party, a PADS Pub Fundraiser, a PADS Meet and Greet at CPS head office, had some Costco trips, and did great on a road trip to BC.
It was great during a busy Christmas season, navigating how to meet people while being settled, that’s a lot of work, but she was a superstar!!
We, as new raisers, are learning lots, and so is Holly 🙂
