Hope has had a fun summer so far. She has been on ferry rides to Pender Island and went to a sitter with dog friends for a while. She had a friend come and stay as well. He is a smaller, older dog who is not as energetic. She tried to get him to play. Sometimes, she was excited to get him to play for a few minutes. He was very patient with the amount of face-licking Hope gave him.
She had a surprising run-in with a deer and unfortunately, chased her out of the yard. Hopefully, next time, she will just watch it.
