Hi, everybody! Hope here, AKA Hopey, Hopester, and Hopey-Dopey! (My moms have lots of names for me, and I answer to all of them!)

This month, I had some adventures—I went to a couple of lakes with my moms, met up with some other PADS pups and peeps at a dog park where we got to run around and play, and I went shopping with my moms at a bunch of different stores. They took me on a ride on the Skytrain, which is kinda like a bus, but it goes on rails. I was a bit disappointed that it doesn’t really fly or anything, but it was fun, anyway.

My moms told me that they’re going on a trip, but I can’t go with them and will stay with some people who will take care of me. (I showed them that I can actually fit in a carry-on bag, but they weren’t going for it.) They said they’ll miss me, and I will miss them. I met my puppy-sitters, and they’re really nice, and I’m looking forward to staying with them until my moms get back. I’ll try to be a good girl while they’re gone.

I’m really getting to be a big dog now—I weigh 36 pounds! My moms say that if I grow into my feet, I’ll be huge—hope so!

I’m learning new things like how to wait until I’m told I can go through a door instead of just pushing my way through, and how to move my back feet around in a circle. Sometimes, my big feet get in the way, but I’m getting better at it. I’m also getting good at going to my bed when I’m told and staying out from under my mom’s feet while they’re cooking.

Well, that’s it for now. Hope everyone is having fun in the nice Spring weather, and I’ll be back soon with more tales of my adventures. Bye for now!
