Hi, everybody! My name is Hope III (or just Hope, for short), and I just turned three months old! I came to live with my new moms about a month ago, and I like it here! When I first got here, my big cousin, Allen, was still living here. He helped me get settled in. He played with me and even let me share his bed. Allen went off to advanced training to someplace called Calgary. My moms were kinda sad to see him go, but we’re all very proud of him. (That’s Allen in his new blue vest—doesn’t he look handsome?!)
So, from now on, these pupdates will be all about moi! I’m learning lots of new things (like the fact that I shouldn’t do my business in the house), have been on some adventure walks where I met some of my human and dog neighbours, and one of my moms took me to a place called a “mall” where humans hang out, and I went on a walk with Meadow and her mom. There were lots of humans there, but it wasn’t too scary. I’ve also been to a place where humans go to swim and exercise. The people there really like me and said they want to see me every week to watch me grow up. I have lots of toys, some nice, soft beds, a yard to play in, a park nearby—and I really like my moms! I’m excited about learning even more skills as I get older.
