August was a very chill month for Indy & her family – mostly because her raiser, Judi, broke some ribs mountain biking. While that was unfortunate, it forced Judi to think about training in a different way. We spent some quality off-leash time (as any pulling was very uncomfortable!) & changing our lead hand. Indy figured out that walking on Judi’s right side was possible (gotta love the lure!)
Fortunately for Indy, she went to a sitter later in the month (while Judi & family went south) & she got to have a dog buddy for 2 weeks! Learning to settle in another dog’s presence was a challenge, but Indy was up to it – way to go girlfriend!
