November was not a busy month for Indy because she came into her first heat! It was a new experience for both pup & raiser, but Indy was a champ – her energy level stayed the same throughout, but she became a little more lovey-dovey. Judi must have had a sixth sense that it might happen and spent some time ‘practicing’ with some shorts in case some ‘protection’ was needed. As ever, Indy stood patiently waiting to be dressed, much like she does when putting on her cape or getting dried off from a wet outing or a bath.Β
We did manage to get out in the fall foliage early in the month & practice duration at a distance. From all our inside time after Indy’s heat began, we discovered a new favourite game – peek-a-boo!
