Jonsie was with a sitter from mid-December to mid-January; it’s fair to say I missed him immensely.
However, he had the best time with Bev over Christmas and even had Billie as a playmate. They ventured out to their cabin for some lovely snowy walks, and he had a blast.
Finally home, I was sooooo happy to see him. Food transition from puppy Gastro to puppy large breed went beautifully on our second attempt. He also came home a fully fledged teenager with acne and these two things between my back legs that make me walk funny.
Food transition completed onto a gentle leader intro. Being a pretty stubborn puppy, this is taking longer than we thought, but as with all previous obstacles, we get there. He’s been out and about visiting schools and hospitals, and puppy birthday parties. He is forming a good number of fans and gives the best sloppy greetings, tummy rubs, but his listening skills have defintely improved, no nonsense approach with this big bear.
Happy New Year to all from Jo Jo and me.
