October included a visit to Vancouver Island, meaning a trip on the ferry. The sun was shining, and the seas were calm, so it was an easy crossing. I slept most of the way except for our walkabouts, where we met lots of people wanting to know about PADS. We stayed in a hotel, and I was on my best behaviour. We dined out at the Black Fin pub and did some shopping. I was happy to support Steve’s Mom through a very difficult medical procedure. She enjoyed petting me at the hospital, and I kept my chin on her lap. I think she felt better.

As of November, I am moving into advanced training at the Burnaby campus. It is a very exciting time, and I look forward to my next steps in service dog training.
