Lulu started the month on holiday with a puppy sitter. There was a released PADS dog there, so she had a wonderful time. After her return home, we went for a visit at a seniors’ home with a friend where Lulu was a huge hit and received some well-deserved attention. This was good because she did not seem to enjoy the Super Bowl as much as I did. Maybe she is a 49ers fan.
The week became more interesting for her when we went to brunch, at least it smelled good to her! She rounded out the weekend with a play at Vertigo Theatre.
Life at home was much more fun the following week as I was babysitting my 2-1/2-year-old granddaughter and her dog. It was very nice for Lulu to have full-time dog company and the children were very exciting.
Things slowed down considerably at the end of the month as Lulu was spayed and spent some quiet time recovering. She recovered quickly, however, and was back to her old exuberant self in a week.
