Mario arrived during the week of March 18th. We took him on a few walks to help him get acquainted with his new surroundings, including a kitten. In April, we focused on basic commands such as “back,” “recall,” and duration exercises. We also worked on managing distractions from other dogs and his tendency to suddenly lunge at passing dogs and sometimes people. Additionally, we took field trips to various places, including Walmart, grocery stores, Bosleys, pharmacies, and meetings with 12 or more people.
