Hi,

I said stay tuned for more exciting adventures, and April did not disappoint!

These were some of my adventures, and it started with visiting a fire hall, where I heard all sorts of sirens & loud noises, and I even got to go in the fire truck. We visited a special friend in the hospital, and the nurses were so excited I was there. I’ve been for some fun walks with PADS friends where we got to run & play, some other walks are on leash and then settling at Starbucks. I’ve also been to the mall, pet stores, grocery stores, restaurants, a brewery, and my human brother’s hockey game. We walked around a carnival when it was closed, and I checked my height to see if I was big enough to go on rides, but sadly I was not.

The Easter bunny came, and I went on an Easter Egg hunt and found lots of eggs with treats in them, and I got a new toy. I’m losing teeth constantly, which means the tooth fairy has been visiting. I’m so lucky that I got a new toy for losing so many teeth – I like this gig.

I’ve been to big family gatherings, where we met friends in Deep Cove for a walk and then went for dinner. We sat outside, and our friend’s dog was little and sat up with them, and meanwhile, I lay on the ground like a good girl. I met a 6-month-old baby, and I was very gentle – I think she liked me. Another raiser took me to her school when it was a Pro D day. There may not have been kids, but there were lots of staff and some working PADS dogs. I met PADS Toast, and it was a big day of learning – it was very tiring being good all day.

Mom had a walk & talk with our trainer, and she told me to be on my best behaviour. I tried hard, and mom said I did good, but she needs to work on a couple of things, lol.

For the next two weeks, mom is going to have a different dog as we do puppy swaps in our class. Our trainer sends us to another raiser to experience different training, environments, etc. Mom & dad don’t want me to go, as I’ve only been with them three months, but I know it’s good for all of us.

Let’s see what fun I get up to with the other raiser.

Hugs,
Meadow
