Hi!
It’s been a very busy month. Here’s what I’ve been up to:
I spent a few days with sitters Carrie & Darren, released PADS dog Sprout and their cat Ruby, whom I actually got close to this time.
I’ve had walks with PADS Fendi and Jasper. I had an off-leash run with PADS Patty, Mickey & Drax; everyone commented on how fast I am, the dogs couldn’t catch me. I did some mall training with Bowie and another time with Pixie. We were such good girls that we each got a new stuffy.
Mom keeps taking me on coffee dates. She says I really need to work on my “off switch,” meaning I need to just chill when we’re out. We went for lunch with a group of friends, I lay down and slept, and Mom was very proud of me.
I accompanied Mom to the blood donor clinic and kept a close eye on her. The staff and other donors loved having me there, one staff member said she wished they always had a dog present.
As always, I go with my Mom to the grocery store, then to the pet store for training.
The biggest thing this month was that I had my GDBART; it’s less about my training and more about my personality. We’re waiting to hear back about how I did, paws crossed, it went well.
Lastly, to end the month, I went into heat, which is my second one. Mom says she’s happy we did lots of outings because I’ll have to lie low for the next few weeks.
I’ll continue working on my skills indoors; however, no fun outings for a while.
Hugs,
Meadow
