It’s summer, and so far it’s been a blast. Let me tell you about what I’ve been up to.

We volunteered to be at the PADS booth during a Whitecaps game. I didn’t have to do much, just lay there nicely while people asked mom & dad questions and let some kids & adults pet me, I stayed very focused on mom.

We had our class BBQ, and mom said this was the most chill group of dogs she’s seen at a BBQ yet, that included moi. Our trainer is so awesome, she gave us all a jar with our name on it with treats inside, how sweet is that?

Another raiser borrowed me for a few hours one night to go to her daughter’s last school concert. I helped sell 50/50 tickets, apparently we sold more than any other PADS dog she’s brought, guess they couldn’t resist my big brown eyes or my cute bow tie!

I spent a weekend with sitter Carrie while mom & dad celebrated a friend’s big birthday. I had fun with Sprout in Point Roberts.

It’s been a month of seeing family, we met mom’s oldest sister & her husband in Stanley Park. That was the first time there for me; there were so many smells, I even saw horses. We went to a family member’s big birthday party, and I was happy to be included this time. All my human family came over to celebrate Father’s Day. There were 2 other dogs, and they weren’t super friendly, so I stayed in my lane. We also had family from out of town stay with us, like I said, it’s been a month of family time.

Mom & I went on a sky train adventure with PADS Myra & Allen, and their raisers. It was my first time, it was busy & loud, it didn’t bother me. We got off at a mall and sat outside while the humans had coffee, then back on the sky train home.

On top of all this, I’ve had some walks with friends, training at the mall, a lacrosse game, a restaurant, a pet store and a grocery store. I’m learning to settle for longer periods of time, and I’ve gotten good at sitting for pics with other dogs.

Let’s see what July has for me. I’m hoping for more beach time at the cabin.

Hugs,
Meadow
