The first month of 2025 is already behind me! Iโm almost 7 months old now and officially a teenager. While that can come with some challenges, Iโm told Iโve been showing more maturity and making a lot of progress, especially in making good choices when faced with distractions and challenging environments.
This month, I kept up my routine of joining my raiser for workouts and visiting the gym has become part of my regular schedule. I continue to impress with my ability to settle, and I even caught a couple of people taking photos of me! I also had my first trip to the movie theatre, where I made it through almost two hours of the film before getting a little restless (maybe it was all the tempting popcorn smells!). My raiser decided to leave on a positive note, and we quietly exitedโhonestly, the movie wasnโt that great anyway. I also spent a few workdays downtown, where I walked busy streets, visited coffee shops, and had lunch at a cafe.
Of course, I also enjoyed plenty of sniffy walks both on and off leash, plus playtime with my fur cousin. My favourite outing was to Spanish Banks where I got to play at the off-leash dog beach and even ran into the ocean! Brrrโฆ it was cold but I was having too much fun to notice.
And to finish off the month, I spent a week with my favourite sitters! We went on a PADS field trip to the aquarium, visited different shops, and I had a sleepover with their other guest, PADS Smaug!
