The month kicked off with a huge milestone—my first birthday! To celebrate, I was spoiled with a personalized cookie, a brand-new toy, and best of all, a birthday pawty with my siblings. We reunited at a local dog park and had a blast running around and playing together. It was amazing to see everyone again and for our raisers to reconnect. I’ve even included a photo of my brother Arthur and me rocking our birthday bandanas (he’s in blue), courtesy of Minnie’s human!

This month also brought new weekend adventures! I’ve started regular trail walks with PADS Indy and her Advanced sitter. We’re a great match—once I got past my initial (ahem) enthusiasm for my new girlfriend —and now we have a blast racing through the trails and teaming up to carry giant sticks. It’s serious business, obviously. I also hit the dog beach and tried paddleboarding for the first time. I hopped right on and made myself comfortable on the board… until a wave of queasiness hit and I accidentally gifted the human a lapful of vomit. Whoops! Maybe it was motion sickness, excitement, or something I munched on—either way, I plan to keep my lunch next time. After my little mishap, we paddled to shore for a cleanup, and I had tons of fun splashing and playing with other dogs.

A proud moment this month was attending my very first basketball game. Between the cheering, buzzer noises, and blasting music, I curled up under the seat and snoozed like a champ. The humans were thrilled—apparently sleeping through chaos is a big win!

Finally, I wrapped up the month with a mini getaway at one of my favourite sitters. She took me to the Canadian Museum of Flight, where I got to sit inside an airplane, explore the exhibits, and even watch a plane take off.

Not a bad month, right?
