This month, I had a 2-week reunion with my first puppy-raising family, as my current raiser was away on a trip. I was happy to be reunited with them, and it was a busy stay with a number of outings, including a high school graduation ceremony, a birthday party, shopping and visits to work.
I also had my GDBart (Guide Dog Behavior and Assessment Research Test) this month – it was sure an interesting experience!
I’m back to travelling in vehicles, so I’m getting out more. Once I was back with my current raiser, I went to an orchestra practice and shopping a few more times. I also attended the PADS graduation ceremony on May 25, – and while I was inspired by the success of other PADS dogs, I decided I’d rather have a bit of a nap than watch the presentations! I’m continuing to work on improving my durations and dog distractions.
