This month Morley left his whelping home and began his puppy-raising journey. This firecracker has made a name for himself as the sassiest puppy I have raised to date. He has been learning what patience means and how to better regulate his emotions. Morley is a clever guy who loves food and is eager to work for his meals.Β
We are working on name recognition, the correct mechanics to move between sit, down and stand, dress, bed, loose leash walking and introducing perch. He is a bit touch sensitive and we are working on ways to make him more comfortable. While it is early days, seeing Morley’s excitement to learn makes me excited for the next 12-16 months.
