We had an excellent last month of summer with Nova. She really upped her game, extending the length of outings she was able to tackle— some of them the longest to date. This includes many back-to-school shopping trips, breweries, brunch dates and professional development workshops. She is working really hard on her off-switch in new and novel places. She even handled a whole Vancouver day trip with a few hours at the aquarium. I can confirm that she loves the seals.

We have heard many side comments of, “What a beautiful dog” or “What a well-behaved dog.” We think so too we are proud of her!

She even got to spend time with PADS AFDs, visiting AFD Zipp and having AFD Bruni visit us. We are sure that their calm presence rubbed off on Nova (and also sure the crazy rubbed off on them too, haha!)

September is back to school, which is an adjustment for everyone, so stay tuned to the next pupdate to see how Nova tackles high school and middle school this year.
