December was a BIG month for Nova. After wrapping up her time with her favourite and remarkable sitter, Caroline, she came home to Chilliwack to meet her new favourite human and newborn, Selah. It was the most beautiful of greetings, it seemed as if Nova knew Selah had been in my belly for the last 9 months and was so excited to see her. Nova has been remarkable with Selah, offering up a paw or bringing her a stuffy when she seems to be upset. She is quick to love her and has transitioned to life with an extra human quite marvellously.
And just when she got used to living with 3 humans, she had to welcome another 6 for Christmas break, including a very busy 8-year-old, Olly. She was initially quite excitable around Olly but then learned to discern when playtime was and when the chill time was.Β
It was a busy Christmas break with many parties, outings to delicious places and Science World. Naturally, her favourite party was the PADS Christmas party with her class. She even rocked a visit to downtown Van with all the smells, traffic, skytrain rides and people. We were especially proud of her during our visit to Glow in Langley as there were a lot of outdoor smells on the Ag land and a plethora of tiny humans running and squeaking with excitement.
Nova III’s first Christmas season was a success, in our opinion.
