It’s hard to believe that Nova III could ever be more awesome, but each month we sit to write this pupdate, she proves that she is. It has been a strong month for Nova as she continues to serve those at our school. Sit on the ground next to her, and she will be sure to sit on top of you as if she is a lap dog.

My favourite story of Nova this month was supporting a student in K. Staff had been working to calm this student for 40 minutes before they reached out for a dog. Five minutes later, the student was ready to reintegrate back into class. Nova was full of beans, and this is exactly what the student needed to reset and feel loved.

This month, Nova III also got spayed as she prepares for advanced training. She was incredibly resilient and had a pep in her step almost immediately after her spay. The challenge was to get her to rest, as she just wanted to get right back to work. It is a good exercise in patience for her. 🙂
