April has been great for many reasons, and I got to embark on myΒ veryΒ firstΒ fullΒ week away from home so that my raisers could go on holiday. The sitters were so kind, and get this – they had a doggie companion for me to hang out with! Oh, how I adored him. It was tough not to shadow him everywhere, and I may or may not have tried sneaking onto his bed a few times. Shh, don’t tell!

Another highlight of my month was the great outdoors!Β I went on my first-ever walking tour – it wasΒ in Gastown, and everyone learned a lot… including me, asΒ I was constantly toldΒ not to try to remove and eat the chewed gum off the floor.Β But that’s not all; I tackled my first 25-minute hike up the mountain like a true champ! The fresh air, the smells, jumping on tree trunks, working on my recall, oh, it was paw-some!

I also got to experience the excitement of a baseball game! I cheered and rooted for the VancouverΒ Canadians,Β alongsideΒ my humans and their pals. Despite the smaller crowd, the atmosphere was off the charts and as always, I just had to keep it cool while everyone was having fun.

Oh, and guess what? I celebrated my 5-month milestone on the 27th! Can you believe I’m already saying goodbye to my baby teeth? Time sure does fly.Β And speaking of changes, I’ve outgrown my baby yellow vest –Β yup,Β I’m officially a medium-sized pup now, tipping the scales at a whopping 40 lbs.Β Can you imagine?

Now, onto the scoop for next month – I’ve been asked to start using a gentle leader during walks.Β SeemsΒ that I’ve been a tad too enthusiastic on the leash. Oops! But fear not, I’ll turn that gentle leader into a fashion statement,Β justΒ wait and see. Get ready for some stylish snapshots in the next update!

Well, that wraps up my April adventures! Thanks a million for being suchΒ an amazingΒ sponsor and supporting me on this journey.
