Hi everyone!

This month was a big adventure—my raiser and I travelled to Calgary for a family emergency. It was a 10-hour drive, and I was such a good girl the whole way! My raiser was so proud, especially remembering how, on the very first day she picked me up from PADS, I barked the entire drive home. Look at me now!

It felt a little strange being in a new place at first, but I quickly got used to it and had so much fun accompanying my raiser everywhere. We spent lots of time studying in cafés, going for trail walks, and visiting all sorts of stores. I even got to ride the C-Train—and I was excellent the whole time!

At home, I lived with two cats. I was so curious about them, but I made sure to be gentle. I followed them around, quietly observing, and never once barked, pawed, or nipped. My raiser says I was the loveliest girl with them.

One weekend, we went camping in the mountains, and I got to sleep in a hammock with my raiser under the stars. I even learned how to stand-up paddleboard! I fell off a couple of times while learning, but I hopped right back on—because that’s the kind of determined pup I am.

It was an unforgettable month, and I’m so proud of how much I’m growing into my role as an assistance dog in training.
