March 2026 marked a big milestone in Patty’s journey when she started her new career as a beloved family pet. As her long-term puppy sitter, I was involved in the adoption process and was able to witness the joyful romps in her new backyard.
Saying goodbye to a puppy is always a bittersweet moment for the PADS volunteers – puppy raisers, trainers and sitters – who have spent so much time and energy raising a tiny sausage into a confident adult. Every dog chooses their own path, and Patty, with her goofy and playful spirit, is bringing joy to a new set of humans. Run free, Patty girl!
