Peach had a long month. πŸ™‚ Not just because of February 29th though. πŸ™‚

First couple of weeks she tried a lot of new activities: stealing socks, jumping on the curtains, chewing on video gaming devices, sleeping on humans’ couches, and barking at other dogs during her classes and on-leash walks. πŸ™‚ Cause: boredom and hormonal changes… Hence, more management and training!

She had her “walk and talk” with her cohort trainer and was unpleasantly surprised to learn that she needs to eat less and exercise more. πŸ™‚ So… in the second half of the month she spent quite some time outdoors: chasing either her housemate Taurus, or her friend Mr.P, and walking daily (at different speeds, in different locations, at different times of the day, regardless of heavy rain or strong wind). She also visited a vet clinic a couple of times to check her weight (saw a cat there!) and a pet store (explored the bathing area with interest). πŸ™‚

Peach learnt at her recent class how to “say hi” to other dogs (when she is on leash), so during her daily walks she got to practice this new skill a few times (and also was greeted by a couple of humans).

Peach’s sitter hopes that all this outdoor time made the pup healthier and happier. πŸ™‚
