Pecan II experienced what it is like to work with a client this month. She did find it challenging to think about two people simultaneously, the client and the trainer, but she started to figure out that clients also give kibble. She showed trainer Lisa that she loves being a helper dog no matter who they are. Pecan does not like riding in the big PADS Mercedes Sprinter Van as it is noisy, with the lift rattling at the back. We will need to take some transit trips to see what she thinks of those. Pecan finds riding in the footwell in a comfortable bed satisfactory, but it is prime real estate, so sometimes she needs to “spoon” with another dog. She has no problem jumping in and heading out for a trip in it as she never wants to miss out on adventures. This month she enjoyed going to one of her puppyhood hangouts, Ambleside Park.
