Pecan IIΒ is having fun and can also be impatient to wait her turn. Sometimes we work on the simple things like arousal around stimuli and β€œfomo” (fear of missing out). These are foundations that are very important to her training. We toggle our training plan with a mix of skills she finds stimulating (tug, opening doors, retrieve, closing doors) and working on those foundations of coming in and out of arousal. Pecan can find working near her primary handler to be particularly difficult, so we are working on different opportunities to help her learn and to focus on the handler in front of her. Onward and upward Ms. Pecan!
