This month, Petra has been learning all kinds of new things! Now that she is getting older, we are starting to ramp up her training a bit. She is learning the ins and outs of perch work, reverse luring, and cooperative care. We are also practicing her recall in higher distraction areas, and she is doing fabulous! For all baby pups, duration behaviours are tough, but she is rocking it like a champ! We donβt have the heart to tell her that she isnβt an advanced dog (although she spends a lot of time watching in awe at all the cool stuff they can do). She has been out on lots of field trips this month and is going to school at the University of Alberta more consistently. This month, she had the opportunity to travel to Vancouver for a training workshop and did awesome! She also got the chance to meet up with the rest of her family (PADS Louise and PADS Taj).
