Picard celebrated his first birthday with a first-time hike on Dog Mountain, while there was still lots of snow up there. He had fun with the white stuff and even met some Ravens at the very top while they eyed his birthday cookie and cake.
The rest of the month was trying some new experiences…some of which were a little scary like the noises and lights when the Abbotsford Canucks scored a goal. The quieter experiences, like shopping with Mom for some new clothes for her, going to the airport on the Canada line, going to an Easter church service, and camping in the backyard with little people…well, they were a little more my comfort level. I think I did see the real Easter rabbit delivering eggs …..I almost caught him, but no chocolate for me this Easter. Maybe next time.
