Well, the MOST exciting thing this month was participating in the Invictus games. Picard went with a couple of different handlers and travelled on a variety of public transit options to get there. He was there for four opportunities and was a star all those times. When we went to the closing ceremonies, I had tickets in the nosebleed section, but the usher couldn’t resist his cuteness and upgraded us to the wheelchair-accessible area, which had so much more space, was closer to the stage, and had a personal usher waiting to help us with whatever we needed. They even brought Picard a puppy bed to watch the ceremony in comfort. Kudos to all the staff at Roger’s Arena. With all the work he did, he went to lots of dog off-leash time to de-stress and greatly improved his recall. He’s such a superstar… a Star Trek super Star.
