Puzzle arrived in Canada in early December and hit the ground running – or spinning, rather, as his first stop was at an indoor cycling class.

December has been a month for exploring the neighbourhood and first experiences as a puppy/raiser team – trips to parks and community centres, stores, food courts, and even City Hall. He attended a PADS holiday party, with so many puppies!

He likes car rides and has no hesitation about getting on the bus or train. He had his first mall and trail walks, taking guidance from PADS Electra.

Time at home is quiet. He will lie in his bed but prefers an old flannel sheet where he can be close by while his raiser does chores or works. He is learning to love his kennel, which offers an escape from the Hallmark movies on TV that he doesn’t like.

He does not seem bothered by loud noises or crowds but fears open umbrellas, at least inside (bad luck after all). Being Vancouverites, we have a lot of opportunities to get comfortable with these contraptions.
