June has been a busy month for Radar. He graduated Kindergarten with the rest of his schoolmates, and although they were sad to say goodbye, they are looking forward to hearing how Radar progresses towards the coveted blue vest.
This month, Radar enjoyed many more firsts – the first movie in a movie theatre, the first WNBA game, and the first trip on the paddle board! He continues to impress us with his ability to “switch off” and even fall asleep in public spaces (the noisier the better!).
Our focus over the next few weeks will be to work on dog distraction (keeping a loose leash and not pulling toward or barking at other dogs), and his duration sit, stand, and down. As Radar’s turn-in date approaches, we are beginning to mentally prepare ourselves for the bittersweet moment.
