Hello hoomans and fellow puppers! Happy New Year. I hope you all had a wonderful time with your fur-friends and the 2 legged friends, family and loved ones alike.

December was a bit of a lazy month. My hooman didn’t feel well and was sick for what seemed like forever. I still got to go for walks and do some new things but it wasn’t as fun as my previous months.

I spent a lot of time learning how to settle at work; if you see my picture, you can see I used this time to take naps. Sleeping is good, but I’ve been told I’m very loud and sound like a chainsaw when I sleep. I’m not sure what that means. I think I’m quiet, I’m sleeping (zzzz’s)

There was a day t that was called Christmas, and oh boy, this day had some really good smells. I wasn’t at home so I had to make sure my manners were on point. I think I did really good, nothing went missing from any food platforms or food saucers. Yay me! Because I was such a good boy I got given a bunch of things that came from someone named Santa. I don’t know who Santa is, but I think he has to be pretty amazing. He gave me toys, a super comfy hoodie (you can see me wearing it) and a bowl. I really like the bowl it’s soooo BIG! Then I found out it doesn’t mean I get more food, but that I have to take more time eating my kibbies.

I got a new cape! I’m growing and getting so much bigger that I needed to get a bigger cape. I also had to get a new collar. Santa didn’t bring me one of those, but my hooman raiser did. It’s my favourite colour, blue, and it makes me look spiffy.

Oh, and the paw-some thing that happened this month was a trip to the hooman playground (Home Depot). We met with our puppy trainer, and she asked me to do a bunch of things. Some I’ve never done before, but with a little encouragement, I got it done. I think I did pretty good, I climbed up stairs that were very scary but I got good scratchy’s at the top. There were tiny animals that I thought I could play with, but they didn’t move, so I left them alone; they weren’t as fun as I thought they’d be. I went and sniffed some leaves, saw a bunch of people walking by, there were lots of noises and other experiences.Β  There’s still work to be done on being better so I can be the “super service pup” I want to be.

I wonder what next month will bring???

Stay tuned for more of my adventures and what January has in store for me…….
