Sit, down, stand, heel, side, loose leash walking, bed, off, drop… those are just a few of the skills Risq has learned. She’s also obsessed with retrieving shoes. Retrieving is a key skill for a mobility service dog, so this natural desire to bring things is great. We’ve been working on bringing things other than shoes. LOL!
Late in February, Risq had a break from working and training due to some surgery. She thought she should be back at full steam after just a couple of days, and needed to learn what true rest is all about. She has recovered really well and will be back in the swing of things shortly.
