RoanΒ was SO excited to be here. He had the best time ever playing with Dean. He was even more excited when he realized his sister Pearl was here! Roan doesnβt have a bunkmate yet, but heβs been enjoying his βonly dogβ space in his dorm room. You can always find Roan hanging on the top bunk overlooking everyone. Roan is only staying in the kennels until he gets to go all the way to Calgary. Roan is super excited about that road trip coming up! Heβs going to have a blast there! Roan was noted to have trouble settling, so we have been working on that. He likes to settle when he is the only dog around, so we have slowly been adding dogs as more distractions, and he has been doing good. Roan is a big goofy boy with lots of personality! He makes us all laugh. Roan stayed with a sitter for the last week of February, and his sitter loved him. He did so well with her. He went on lots of walks and practiced his stellar recall! He was able to settle well. He went to a pet store and was a little sniffy, but that will be worked on. Roan will be in Calgary shortly to start his adventures. The Burnaby campus will miss Roan.
