Roku has reached a new level of busy activity in our home. He has grown more, both physically and mentally, and he needs lots of physical and mental activity to stimulate him.
This month he celebrated his 6 month birthday. He has had more dog-to-dog interactions and continues to learn calm approaches in these scenarios. Roku thoroughly enjoys children and is in an immediate play mode with children 5 years old and younger as they are eye to eye with him. To him, this is an obvious invitation to play. He is working on calm approaches with them as well and all parties involved have learned safe, calm ways to interact. We are so proud of our boy.
Roku had some off-leash time and excelled with constant looking back and coming back to me for direction and just checking in. I felt safe in the environment where we had secured his loyalty. Roku is an affectionate and busy boy who continues to thrive in learning and working.

Bonus Pupdate:
Roku is a sweetheart who wants to be with his person all of the time. He is a quick learner and is proud of his work. He will vocalize his displeasure and ‘argue’ with me when we work on duration, and he thinks I am slow in handing over the treat.
He has good house manners (does not counter surf) and settles nicely when I work from home during my working hours.
He is full of beans and likes to rearrange my shoes when I step outside.
