Sawyer has been shortlisted for the PADS breeding program and is currently undergoing health testing to make sure that she doesn’t have any health conditions that would make her a less-than-desirable breeding candidate. At this point, she’s had testing on her eyes and heart, as well as DNA testing to see what her genetic status is for a number of different diseases that Lab x Goldens can carry. We are just waiting on her hip and elbow x-rays. As we’re in a holding pattern, this will be Sawyer’s last Pupdate for now; hopefully, a post announcing her addition to the Breeding Program will follow in due course.
